This conversation delves into what therapy is and what it is not along with what to expect in a therapy session and what makes it good or bad along with some red flags to look out for.
Dr. Janice Kuhn is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and psychotherapist. She is a recognized expert on integrative psychiatric care and women’s mental health. For the past twenty years, she has been active in psychiatric care, counseling, research, and psychotherapy. Dr. Kuhn received her M.S. in Counseling at Creighton University in Omaha, her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and received her training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Kuhn currently practices counseling and psychiatry in Omaha, NE
